We’ve an exciting and varied line up of talks and visits for the year ahead. You can see the full programme on our website here. Growing in your garden

Thanks to Jenny who sent us this photo of this beautiful Camelia from her garden. Camellias originate from tropical and sub-tropical areas in eastern and southern Asia, from the Himalayas east to Japan and Indonesia. Did you know there are more than 220 species of Camellia. They are easy to grow, glossy evergreens. They are ideal in containers. Their showy flowers  come in whites, pinks and reds and appear early in the season when not much else is flowering. Find more advice on growing Camellias from the Royal Horticultural Society. https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/camellia/growing-guide
