We have booked a tour of the University of Bristol Botanical Gardens on Saturday 11th June at 2pm (to follow on from our talk by Nick Wray, Botanic Garden Curator, at our May meeting). We will need a minimum of ten people to book a group tour; in the event that we get less than ten people wanting to go, we will of course notify you and arrange refunds.
Tour Details
For a daytime tour, and as long as the Covid-19 situation allows, there will be a refreshment room in operation, selling hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads and cakes. Visitors are also welcome to bring picnics which can be enjoyed in the main Garden where there is plenty of seating available.
Getting There
For Satnav purposes the Garden postcode is BS9 1JG. There is some free parking in the walled car park at the Botanic Garden and free parking is available on Stoke Park Road and Stoke Hill, near the Garden. Please report to the white Welcome Lodge on arrival. There is also free parking on Saville Road (5 hours only), by the Downs, in which case please enter the garden through the back entrance, leading from Hollybush Lane, then walk straight on past the Hall of Residence to the Welcome Lodge.

We would prefer payments to be made by Tuesday 3 May using bank transfer, although cash and cheque payments can be taken at the meeting if necessary.
