Feb 4th AGM followed by an informal discussion and Q&A with Wendy Desyllas about her work with BBC Gardener’s World

March 3rd Rob Handy returns with more stories about his self-supporting eco system where everything he grows has a symbiotic relationship.

April 7th Karen Beasley will share her expertise in planting seasonal containers. There will be a quiz and raffle prizes!

April (date tbc) Join us on the most stunning bluebell walk followed by a guided tour of Riding for the Disabled Centre.

May 3rd Plant Fair Tobacco Factory, North Street. Please bring some of your spare plants for our stall.

May 5th An interesting evening with Nick Wray, Curator of Bristol’s Botanic Gardens talking about the work being done at the gardens.

June 2nd Visit to Jan & John’s garden and BBQ. Members only

June 16th Nick Wray, Curator of the Botanic Gardens, will give us a guided tour of the University gardens.

July 7th A propagation evening –expert Victoria Logue will demonstrate various techniques for success.

July 19th Club day-trip by coach to visit RHS Rosemoor. Booking/payment details later

August No meeting – summer break

Sept 1st Interesting talk with Roy Cheek about what plants we can have in our gardens to attract butterflies.

Oct 6th Hear amazing histories and the culture of Indian Gardens from our own Jenny Bhambri-Lyte’s visit to India this year.

Nov 3rd Popular Sally Gregson returns and this time will tell us how to make the most of a winter garden.

Dec 1st A garden club traditional Christmas celebration with mulled wine and festive fun. Everyone welcome.
