Getting Going Again!

It’s been a mixed bag this summer in the garden. Although the long break to enjoy being in the outdoors is much needed and loved, the sun has not shone so brightly inducing long lazy days with a paddling pool!

September is nearly upon us once again and our thoughts are turning to busy times in the garden before putting everything to bed over the autumn. To help with the seasonal transition we are going to be doing something a bit different in our meeting on September 5th. We will be running a hands on workshop talking about all the ways you can get plants free or cheaply with a few easy propagation techniques.

Why not come along and find out all about what cuttings to take when or join in one of the activities including using strawberry runners to make new plants, sowing hardy annuals and forcing hyacinths and mint for christmas treats.

Hope to see you there.
